1980 : Set-up Orchem Industries Pvt. Ltd., a unit for manufacturing dye intermediates. during the very first year of our activity During 1980-90 the manufacturing capacity of Orchem Industries was steadily increased. The emphasis was mainly on consistent quality production of just one Dye Intermediate (4MPDSA) and specialize in the same.
1987 : The group started exporting Dye Intermediates and the production capacity is continuously expanded.
1990 : Another manufacturing unit, Orchem Intermediates Pvt. Ltd. was added to our chemical section.
Over the years, our R & D department had developed some additional products and it was deemed fit to have an independent manufacturing facility for these new products, with full and exclusive attention to them.
1996 : We commissioned our third manufacturing unit Orchem Industries Pvt. Ltd. Unit II, a unit designed to produce several products. This unit can handle large quantities in short time and switch over from one product to another quickly. Intermediates for pigment and pharma industry are added in our product range.
1997 : We added another manufacturing unit, Fine Intermediates Pvt. Ltd. at Vapi, in Gujarat state. This unit can also handle several products and is structured to be flexible for quick product change. WE NOW HAVE A DIVERSIFIED RANGE - ORGANIC INTERMEDIATE CHEMICALS.
ELECTRONICS AND ‘IT’
1980 : A marketing and consultancy organization Techno Services was set-up in the area of electronics and allied products. This unit aims at specialization and quality services in limited area of electronics components, specialty wires & cables and organic chemicals.
1986 : The marketing activity was enlarged with the setting up of Techno Systems specializing in the marketing of electronics related systems. Later these activities were taken up by Techno Services.
1986 : A manufacturing unit, namely Techno Cables Pvt. Ltd. was promoted for the manufacture of speciality wires and cables. Our primary line of manufacture is co-axial cables and data & communication cables. Techno Cables has been awarded ISO 9002 certification by LLOYDS Register Quality Assurance, UK.
1999 : Set-up Techno Infomatics Pvt. Ltd. a unit primarily to focus on computer education, digitization and GIS products & services. Techno Infomatics has also been awarded ISO 9001-2000 certification
OTHER ACTIVITIES
1990 : Set-up Techno Fisheries for growing various varieties of Sweet Water Carps.
